On November 2020, the University of Namibia at Windhoek was included in the LMS-MARM Program promoted by  the London Mathematical Society, The African Mathematics Millennium Science Initiative and the International Mathematical Union.

The aims of this two days meeting are

To report
on one year of intense activity within the LMS-MARM framework, and to launch the NARM project  (Networking African Researchers in Mathematics)  whose first steps have been already walked through seeds of cooperation with Kenyan and Ethiopian Math Departments, including extra collaborations from Indonesia.

to advertise
the main achievement of the current year LMS-MARM activities (some Ph.D. Courses, a Round Table, intense networking activities with other African scientific realities) and, above all, the  implementation, thanks to NCRST and the sponsorship of LMS-MARM, of the First Edition of the Namibiam Olynpiads of Mathematics.
to present a number of concrete actions to be launched in 2022, to promote the growing of Namibian mathematics as a mean to reduce social inequalities and to promote economical development through strengthening the relationships with scientific, academic and economical European Institutions. In particular the First International Namibian Spring School in Mathematics (2022) will be launched.
